Set in the liminal space between screen-lit insomnia and bad dreams
Your Mother Chucks Rocks And Shells is about insomnia, being extremely online, and lucid-dreaming a queerer and generally more bent version of The Exorcist.
The show weaves in and out of dream states, in which The Exorcist is richly and absurdly re-imagined, but this time with its 1980s morality tale flipped on its head. Along the way, Ange captures the panicked, sideways feeling of being stuck awake at 2am, alone with your own thoughts, stuck inside the weird corner of the internet designed to help us sleep.
