Scratch Night is definitely queer, sometimes unpolished - but always a good time

In 2024 SKINT started a variety fundraising night SKINT’s Scratch Night in collaboration with artist Sunny Youngsmith. Scratch Night is a lineup variety show featuring drag, burlesque, comedy and all things in-between. The night brings together artists from across Naarm who are itching to try out new unpolished ideas or get some practice in for their old reliables.

Scratch Night has hosted 31 performers across its 6 shows and runs on an ethos of community led financially accessible art for all. In light of this, no Scratch Night ticket has ever cost above $17.

SKINT is proud to say the event has raised over $1500 for charity. Organisations we have donated to include:

Denizens Society - For the purpose of refugee aid. Currently assisting Gazan refugees in Cairo.
Dhadjowa Foundation - A grassroots organisation established to provide strategic, coordinated, and culturally appropriate support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families whose loved ones have died in custody.
