ABOUT SKINT

Kaite (She/Her) is a producer from Naarm (Melbourne), Australia who works under the company name SKINT. Notable works include: I’m Ready To Talk Now, Jazz Or A Bucket Of Blood, Annie and Lena Have A Talk Show, & Bigfoot: In Plain Sight.

SKINT’s shows have been featured at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne Fringe. She has produced work across numerous venues including the acclaimed Melbourne venues the Malthouse Theatre and Comedy Republic. As of July 2025 SKINT will make its international debut at the legendary Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh with her show I’m Ready To Talk Now.

SKINT started a fundraising Variety Night in 2024 called SKINT’s Scratch Night in collaboration with artist Sunny Youngsmith. Scratch Night brings together artists from across Naarm who are itching to try out new unpolished ideas or get some practice in for their old reliables. The event has hosted 34 acts across its 5 shows and runs on an ethos of community led financially accessible art for all. SKINT is proud to say no Scratch Night ticket has ever cost above $17.

Kaite is a proud recipient of the 2025-2026 MILKE Producer Mentoring Program. The MPMP program is a unique, paid, 12-month professional development initiative designed to support and strengthen independent producing in the performing arts across Victoria.

External to SKINT, Kaite has been a part of shows in a range of festivals across the world. Notable festivals include: Big Umbrella, The Lincoln Center (NYC, 2025), March On, The Esplanade (Singapore, 2023 & 2025), Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (London, 2024),  Freedom Festival Arts Trust (Hull, 2024) and FunFest, WestK (Hong Kong, 2024).

She firmly believes that being skint is a perfectly legitimate business model.
