The Worm

A black-and-white photo of a person holding a magnifying glass over one eye, with the person’s face partly obscured. The image has a graphic overlay with pink and black text that reads 'the WORM' and additional event details. The background features concentric circles and a starry pattern, and there is a torn paper-like border at the bottom with event dates, location, and festival branding.

Tackling the horrors of modern dating and crushing anxiety - all while being haunted by a giant worm

'The Worm' is an original and heartfelt story of vulnerability, standing up for yourself and worms.

This semi-autobiographical show follows protagonist Taylah as she embarks on dates with a hot (terrible) man, a chronically online screenwriter, and her biggest nightmare - someone who’s actually well adjusted. All the while accompanied by a giant animatronic worm, who’s intentions slowly become clear.

Blending the Twilight Zone and stand up comedy to explore themes of perseverance, shame, and the delicate balance between self doubt and self discovery.
